Steve-O is one of several lifelong metalheads in the Jackass crew, and he was recently asked by Metal Hammer to talk about a handful of records that changed his life — so naturally, some heavy-ass albums were mentioned.
One of those was Faith No More's 1989 LP, The Real Thing, which Steve-O picked when he was asked to select an album he'd want to play while he's driving so fast that he's breaking the speed limit.
"The Real Thing by Faith No More comes to mind," Steve-O said. "I guess when I was first exposed to that album I was finding my way around rolling a spliff and really developing a thirst for alcohol. I just got fucked up and did whatever I wanted. That's more where I was at than the album itself, but it's certainly been the soundtrack to fast times."
