Knotfest is back. Slipknot have announced that their very own music festival will return to the band's home state of Iowa later this fall, and the lineup is a doozy. The headlining masked maniacs will be joined by Faith No More, Megadeth, Lamb of God, $uicideboy$ and many others for the one-day bonanza.
In addition to the aforementioned heavy-hitters, the eclectic bill also boasts: Gojira, Trivium, Tech N9ne, Fever 333, Knocked Loose, Turnstile, Gatecreeper and Vended. The whole thing is set to go down September 25th at the National Balloon Classic Field in Indianola, Iowa — a short drive from Slipknot's hometown of Des Moines.
Pre-sale tickets (which are exclusive to Knotfest.com subscribers) go on sale today (May 25th) at 10 a.m. CT, while general tickets will be available at 10 a.m. CT on June 4th. Check out the official poster below.
Additionally, Slipknot have confirmed what we already know, which is that they're currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2019's We Are Not Your Kind. Last week, percussionist Clown glowed about how much fun they're all having at this point in the creative process, calling the songs they're making "God music."
