As previously announced, Metallica will headline the show — as they will all five of Danny Wimmer Presents' 2020 hard-rock festivals, which, in addition to Sonic Temple, include Epicenter, Louder Than Life, Aftershock and Welcome to Rockville. The thrash OGs will perform two different sets (Friday, May 15th and Sunday, May 17th) to open and close the festivities, while Iowan metal juggernaut Slipknot will headline Saturday, May 16th. Deftones, Bring Me the Horizon, Evanescence, Rancid, Cypress Hill, Ghostemane, Suicidal Tendencies, Code Orange, Power Trip, Knocked Loose, City Morgue, 3TEETH and many more will also perform. See the full confirmed lineup so far in the poster below.
The three-day destination fest will feature three music stages, premium food and beverage selections and other onsite experiences including an array of live art and installations. The confirmed lineup of visual artists includes Nychos, Butch Locsin, Michael Reeder, Jason Naylor, Palehorse, Angryblue, Garageland, Urban Aztec, Brian Ewing, Paul Rentler, Omnigraphicon, Mad Pixel, Joe King and Taylor Springle.
